A short documentary about Critical Mass Bike Ride in London, an event happening on the last Friday of every month in London and in many other cities across the globe.
The first Critical Mass Bike Ride in London was in April 1994, there are no organisers and no planned routes for the ride, It also isn’t just for cyclists, sometimes there are wheelchairs, skateboarders, roller bladers, roller skaters and other self-propelled people. Cycle sound systems often play music on the ride. The ride has as many aims as there are participants, is a gathering of like-minded people that want to to reclaim the use of public spaces, promote cycling and the use of public transport instead of car and pollution.
The documentary was made in 2011, I directed and produced the film, it was screened at the Electric Pedals film festival, London.
