In 5 Steps

In 5 steps is a project presented at the Laban Conference in 2009 London.

Is a movement exploration using a process of 5 steps to develop a choreographed duet from an starting initial point of simple series of actions that gets transformed by using Choreological analysis, focusing in the structural model as a key to Choreological practice, with its five elements of, action, space, body, relationship and dynamics. This gives us a tool to identify our movements and what they visibly create in relation to each other, and as a result of it the creation of a choreography in collaboration with Isabel Carvalho.

The work was presented at the conference with an introduction by Rosemary Brant, Senior Lecturer in Choreological studies at Laban Conservatoire.
