I have run contemporary, contact improvisation and choreography workshops for adults and dance professionals in the UK and in South Korea, where I was awarded a Choreographer residency at Seoul Dance Centre in 2016.
I have also been hosting and curating an event for several years called Moving Night, an evening that starts with a tribal dance workshop focused on promoting corporal expression, groundedness and grooviness, where the facilitator, participants and live drumming interact creating a flowing synergy. After the workshop, the evening goes on with Performances from guest artists, musicians, poets… anyone willing to share creativity and to experiment freely!
I have run a Dance project in East London for Bengali and non-Bengali Women, a project Funded by the National Lottery, Arts Council England and Mayor of London as part of Big Dance 2012, a biennial festival of dance and dancing. The event brought together women from different cultures and backgrounds sharing their creative possibilities through dance for over three months.
